All this you can taste, experience and taste... Join us and together we will discover the miracle of making cheese ourselves!
We will teach you how to draw milk using our milking simulator :o) first, and then we will get to the real thing with our goat Lisa or one of the other „ladies“ on the farm. Milking a goat is not as difficult as trying to ice-skate for the first time, but it doesn’t really matter how well it goes. What is most amazing on drawing milk by hand is the close contact with the goat, which you and your children can experience.
Making cheese? This will be an engaging experience for you and your hands, too. The almost miraculous transformation of milk into soft cheese is the main aim of the second part of our program. You will also learn how to make butter at home and where butter milk and whey come from.
Before we wrap your first ever self-made cheese in a store box (or straight in your stomach? :o)) for you, we can let your children see the animals. You will learn about their life on the farm, how we take care of them, and then we will feed them.
The experience with the animals, such as playing with goatlings or feeding, is one of the highlights of the program for children:o).
We add interesting stories from our history, riddles and games for children to your hands-on experience. We will also show you the traditional intruments and you will be able to try them out.
